Instrumentation, Testing, and Laboratory Services

 

D&A has extensive experience and capabilities in experimental methods including mechanical instrumentation, data acquisition, high speed and video photography, scale modeling, and material and component testing techniques. Our services also include chemical analysis of lubricants and fuels, and of samples taken from fire scenes.

We are experienced with the design and performance of custom tests to simulate/recreate accidents, and to evaluate production and prototype equipment and product performance as well as component and material behavior under simulated operating or use environments.

D&A has been called upon to perform tests of products and materials to determine compliance with applicable standards. We have state-of-the-art coefficient of friction and slip resistance testing capabilities.

We offer a wide range of laboratory or on-site instrumentation and data acquisition services. Capabilities include: pressure, flow, temperature, strain, force, acceleration, velocity, and displacement instrumentation; high speed and video photography; and digital data acquisition. D&A also works with outside testing laboratories, including metallurgical and analytical laboratories, to provide our clients with a full range of testing services.
